Need more drama?


While doing research for commercials that have recently gone viral, I stumbled upon an ad for TNT in Belgium. The result was an overly intense, action packed advertisement that accurately depicted TNT.

Now after watching the ad, I instantly started analyzing it. Was it effective? To answer that I put it in the perspective of the Belgian crowd watching the madness ensue. It definitely peaked my interest, and if I were living in Belgium and recently watched this commercial, I might soon be flipping the channel to TNT. Why? Because in that short 2 minute span, I had more adrenaline than watching most other shows.

Overall, I think the advertisement as a whole was very successful. And the video going viral certainly helped TNT's cause. There's no better form of advertisement than getting 38 million free views on Youtube. This goes to show that having a unique, original idea helps a lot in the advertising world.
