Wait...What are they selling?

For as long as there have been advertising, there has pretty much been sex appeal involved. Some of the earliest forms of sex appeal in advertising trace back to as early as 1921 with Schrader Universal Valve Caps. Sex appeal has grown in advertising, with a huge success with Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s. And even today, we see the Go Daddy ads that focus entirely on sex appeal and disregard the service they offer.

But this... this commercial by Carl's Jr, went all out on the sex appeal. When I first saw this commercial, it honestly had me asking "Wait... what are they selling again?"
I mean, I do understand where they are going with this; their target market is younger adult males, and this hits it right on the spot. Sex appeal can do wonders for a company, and I'm very curious as to how ad did on their sales. I'd be willing to assume it increased their sales of the pork burger. But... wow. This is borderline adult content, and should this really be seen in prime time television?

In my opinion, even though I am a guy, I think this crosses the line. I get mild sexual appeal in advertising, but this is too much! I almost feel for the parents who's kids got to watch this. I really hope this isn't where tv advertising is going.
